Children's House Nursery

My 2 year old started at Children's House in June. He had been with a childminder from 10 months old so I was initially apprehensive about looking at a nursery. I can honestly say the staff have been brilliant and he has settled in really well and you are always made to feel very welcome. He talks about 'his school' and playing with his friends all the time. I would highly recommend Children's House as a childcare option to anybody.

Children’s house have accommodated our little boy since he joined nursery at the aged of 11 months. He had reflux and was also a little clingy but soon settled in within a few weeks. The staff always take on board what you tell them and diaries are completed daily for the younger ones so you can see what they have done, what they have eaten etc
Regular meetings with key workers have been informative and aided milestones and activities between nursery and home.
Our little boy feels at home and has come on leaps and bounds. Thank you Children’s House.

Absolutely Fantastic! I am so impressed and grateful that I found this nursery when relocating to the area from London. The staff are ever so polite and you can see that they care for the children and are dedicated to their job. My daughter loves it here and has formed strong friendships with the children and staff.

I have the upmost praise for the care and attention our son receives at Children’s House.
In addition to completing his record book, his key worker, Sophie, always takes the time to talk to us about his progress and nothing seems to be too much trouble.
I am overwhelmed by the creativity that is embedded within the nursery, from themed weeks, arts & crafts, the food provided and thoughtful tokens sent back for parents.
In addition to the care received from his dedicated team member, the home-from-home ethos is always experienced during drop-offs and pick-ups, with all members of staff knowing him well.
It was a tough decision to put our seven month old baby into nursery so early, especially as he was exclusively breast fed up until that point but the team made it a smooth transition, reassuring and supporting us every step of the way.

Our son started Children's House in December 2020 and he loves it, it has helped his development and confidence so much. All the staff are very friendly and the selection of snacks and meals ensures that he is getting lots of variety in his diet. We love the daily app updates as we can see what he's up to and that he's in safe hands. Would highly recommend this nursery to any parents currently researching childcare. Mrs Black x

Our daughter has been at this nursery since she was 9 months old. She has transitioned from the baby unit in to the tweenies unit. Our experience of both units has been excellent with kind and approachable staff. This nursery has a home from home feel and any concerns are always listened to. Our daughter has never hesitated or refused to go to nursery and I believe is well loved by all the staff. The introduction of the Blossom app means we get regular updates throughout the day with how she is, activities she is undertaking and her sleeping and eating. We also get lots of photos and videos. The children also get to go out into the wider community very regularly and spend lots of time in the garden areas. We love her being here and our son will be joining her in the not too distant future.

My son has been attending childrens house nursery since he was around 6 months old, nearly 2 years on and he’s still loving it! Every member of staff we have met including his key workers have been so lovely and you can really see how comfortable and happy he is being around them. He always comes home talking about friends and things they have been doing throughout the day, we also love our updates and photos we receive throughout the day on their app!
Honestly couldn’t recommended childrens house enough.

This place is a home from home nursery. Our daughter has been here for 2+years, moving through different age appropriate rooms and absolutely loves going.
The staff are it’s most outstanding feature. They are welcoming, dedicated and so creative! We love seeing the indoor and outdoor activities they have planned each day and receiving pictures on the nursery app along with the food diary and general updates.
The staff behind the scenes are also fab, always quickly getting back to any emails and calls which was so reassuring when she was settling in and still now always sending out nursery news to keep us up to date.
This is a wonderful environment for children to grow and develop in and I would recommend it to any parent looking for a nursery.
