Interesting venue for Children's activity by Norwich Astronomical Society. Spillover parking was at nearby light airfield (also quite interesting for small boys :-) ). Very busy day with hundreds of visitors and some excellent hot dogs by the Flying Chef who had to twice order more supplies!
Have joined their Facebook page and am looking forward to future activities.

I've been for 2 talks now with my partner and our friends, the staff have always been open and inviting. Managed to see arms of the Milky Way, clusters, shooting starts and cosmic dust!

Everyone is helpful, happy to explain everything and to answer any questions we had. Decided to join with a membership and hope to learn more.

Took the 43rd Saxlingham Beavers for the evening. Very welcoming, most informative talks, and great fun learning about the ISS (how the astronauts wash their hair, where they sleep, and how they go to the toilet in zero gravity!) and loved looking at the telescopes. Such a shame the stars only came out as we were leaving!

Always an interesting visit. Very chatty friendly knowledgeable gathering. Take a torch for when walking to and from car park. No street lighting for obvious reasons !

Great place to visit on their public open evenings. Good value for money, entertaining and informative.
They have 2 permanent telescope domes, a digital imagining facility and several pads for portable telescopes.
The society that runs the observatory (I believe it's the Norwich Astronomical Society) are very friendly , knowledgeable and welcoming.

We'll worth a visit.

Really enjoyed our trip to the Observatory. Fantastic facility with such engaging people, who were very happy to share their knowledge and child friendly with a cafe. Look forward to returning.

Can't control the amount of cloud cover....!! Friendly and welcoming, and opportunities to look through the telescopes. Good teas and got chocolate too!
