The experience was fast from the booking and the test to the arrival and collection of glasses.
Good prices and good service, would come again! Staff are pleasant and are the best I've seen at customer service, especially Bozena.

I'd just like to say thank you very much for the excellent service I've had today.

The team was very professional, attentive, and helpful. A nice and relax atmosphere in the place. The eye test was great and the optometrist took time to explain things in a clear way.
The place was spotless and has good selection of frames to try on for all ages.

I'm so incredibly impressed with my experience at this Specsavers that I'm writing my first Google review. I needed new glasses, but don't have a lot of money at the moment and was struggling to find a pair I liked within my price range. When I explained my situation, one of the staff members went out of his way to ensure I found glasses that I both loved and could afford. And I was able to get prescription sunglasses as well due to the 2-for-1 deal! I later found out that the man who helped me was the owner of the shop, but I don't think this makes his helpful service and friendly manner any less impressive. It absolutely made my day and I've got the glasses all fitted now and I love them. Thanks so much!

It is the worst experience for me in the UK. The receptionist was completely ignorant of my eye problem and refused to help me. I can never forget the scene when the staff rolled her eyes in front of me and asked me to leave. The first two times I visited before was a nice experience. The optometrists were very friendly and professional in giving me advice on my eye problems. However, it does not work after I follow their instructions. To go to the eye hospital to get a further diagnosis, I must get a reference letter from the optician. The receptionist of the branch refused me twice after I followed her first advice to get back to GP just because she thinks I don’t have a problem with my eyes based on the prescription. The worst part was she asked me to leave instead of wasting her time serving another client even though I said I went there to get my new pair of glasses as well at the beginning. Then she gave me a rolling eye when I passed her???? God bless me. I reached out to another branch of Spacesaver and get more professional service and advice!!! I rarely write comments, but it is different this time. I DON’T WANT ANYBODY TO EXPERIENCE THE SAME BAD SITUATION AS ME!!!! If you have any problem, try to avoid the branch, Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists – Moorgate (EC2M 5QD)!

Worst Specsavers branch ever. We had terrible service by staff except for the optometrist yesterday. Two receptionists did everything not to help us even though we explained everything with proof. Thankfully we went to another branch in Angel that threaded us very well and handled the issue. Overall, folks, stay away from Specsavers - Moorgate!!!

I found it a little embarrassing that the lady who attended us didn't have the patience to wait for my 11-year-old daughter to choose her glasses. . Several times, while my daughter tried on the frames,when she approached, inconveniently, she asked: have you chosen?
My daughter was a little embarrassed. I even told her that we would need time, which she often ignored.
In the end she, who was in such a hurry to answer us, took longer to close the order, because she didn't know about prices and system things, than my daughter to choose the glasses.
I felt discriminated against, because for a few times when I communicated with my daughter in our language, even low so as not to disturb, she listened and asked: Sorry? I was constrained to translate my speech, even without knowing much.
I do not recommend going with children and immigrants there. The impression I got is that we are not welcome

I wanted to cancel and get out of there quickly, I don't have to pay to be mistreated, I didn't do it for my daughter, who needs to go back to school.

Friendly staff but incredibly mismanaged.

Tried to call and email for a week, couldn’t get through at any point. The main Specsavers office even tried to contact them on my behalf, couldn’t get through.

In the end I went in person and was given clearly untrue excuses by the store manager.

Wow, the worst customer service today 5/01/23 at around 14.45.
Had work vouchers and was rushed and when I tried to ask questions they were argumentative and not listening.
The lady who did my eye test and subsequently lady who did further tests downstairs were great. As soon as u come upstairs the atmosphere changes. She discussed my query in the front of another customer to the area manager! The area manager was attending to another customer and this lady went ahead gossiping to him what I was asking. No one explained what the prescription was but just that I had to pay extra for this and that. I was very disappointed in who they called the area manager as he turned a blind eye . I could easily afford any glasses on the shelf but When I went to boots for same stuff a year ago they were fantastic. This year not sure why the coy went for specsaver vouchers! I will never visit this store. I had vouchers worth over 130 pounds and they were still cornering me to pay 55 for lenses if I chose from the 69 pounds range! When it clearly states that lenses were free!
Greatest poorest customer service and I am shocked at how the area manager behaved. It was clearly due to my background. Read the reviews here.. Someone has the same experience of race . It is very clear the attitude shown was really bad.
Do not waste your time at this shop . If you don’t want to be rushed and sold something you don’t need , don’t go there. If I could give minus 1 starts I would. Shame on the Moorgate branch!
