The staff are very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. All the latest testing equipment is here and you feel very well looked after.
The range of glasses and lenses is superb and well laid out. I did have to wait two weeks for my glasses, but my prescription and glasses/lenses chosen did extend the wait. But it was worth it.
Prices are very competitive and quality is assured.
Highly recommended!
Everyone in there are so helpful, they are quick and efficient when dealing with you and take the time out to talk to you genuinely on a personal level.
When I’ve had problems with my contacts they deal with it without any problems occurring.
Also I think the chairs outside are a great idea, it’s not exactly a big specsavers and people do need to bare in mind… COVID is still around. The company are also protecting their employees, cut them some slack!! You would be waiting a lot longer if they were all on the sick. Blows my mind!!!
Well done Team Spytty though, sometimes great service isn’t recognised enough
Picks a pair of glasses up today and again poor service and another story from the other three .. To add insult the varifocals i had re-glassed are in part worse than my own eyes ???? The reading is better but the woman that served me said " check the distance " so i looked at a sign in tesco and i said " the writing is blurred " then came the poor and shocking reasons 1 The sign was to far away 2 I may need to get used to them , the thing is i took the glasses off and the sign was NOT blurred so clearly not to far ( thought glasses are meant to improve ) , then " get used to them " , well if the so called customer service looked i have had varifocals before ... There is me thinking glasses are meant to improve vision and not make it worse ? I asked for a manager and nothing i was given the stores email , rather a conflict of interest . I was told try the glasses , well its clear they are not right unless specsavers have powers to look through my eyes .
Consumers are just walking money and i have emailed the community health council advocate and now waiting for the consent form so they can act on my behalf .
I have had mental health for 21yrs and i recommend if you have the same do not go through the same , just go independent agent .
Reviews here do not reflect " Specsavers " type in to Google " NHS Specsavers Opticians Ratings and reviews " you shall find similar to my issue above by many people
record all calls to the store as they claim to have no digital footprint , though when you pass security there should as in all reputable companies have the persons name or unique I.D number and what the call was about , they claim they do not . I asked how long calls were retained for and they did not know , if they did not know they should find out so the ICO ( information Commissioners Office will be contacted also ) , such poor knowledge and did not even try to find out or offer their Privacy / Data protection officers email as under laws if such questions are asked they should be aware or at least find out .
