As mentioned in a previous review, this is a fantastic shop with a wide range of antique and contemporary rugs. The staff are professional and happy to share their extensive knowledge. We have just used the oriental rug merchant to remove stains from our beautiful Afghan Ziegler. An entire bottle of heavy red wine was spilt on it several months ago, and we thought it was ruined. We tried another company who tried but said it was unrepairable and didn’t manage to make much of a difference, but having heard about the oriental rug merchant through a friend decided to give them a try. Not only have they completely removed the stain, they’ve cleaned the carpet and it looks fantastic. The shop is also full of some remarkable rugs with knowledgeable and approachable staff. We really couldn’t be more pleased.

Very friendly and extremely knowledgable staff, who were so so helpful. Showed us a rather large selection of rugs, knowing exactly what rugs were coming up for the look I was after. Shared some awesome insight into their production and just really impressed!
