I suffered with PGP From around twenty weeks (and at the start of the Covid-19 lockdown). I found Herts Osteopathy through the Pelvic Partnership website and some other information about PGP. From that, I realised I didn’t need medication to ease my pain, like the GPs we’re suggesting.

Jo and the team are fantastic, and although my pain did not go completely, the treatment Jo provided allowed me to be more mobile and complete day to day activities and enjoy the rest of my pregnancy.

Coming to see Jo was the highlight of my week, she is super informative and explained everything to me that was going on with my body. I have also been having treatment post birth and am pretty much back to normal fourth month down the line.

I also had a post pregnancy massage with another member of the team which was wonderful and completely needed after having a baby with no access to other massages due lockdown!

Thank you to Jo and the team!

I cannot recommend Jo more highly for anyone with PGP or any pregnancy related discomfort and pain. Her professionalism, knowledge and care are second to none. I only wish I had found her earlier! Huge immediate and long term benefits from hands-on treatment. Physio wasn’t working, but Jo reduced my pain and improved my function from day one. Thank you 🙏

Jo is incredible! She has helped me during and post pregnancy with my agonising pelvic girdle pain, and my now post partum concerns. She always listens and really cares about helping her patients as much as she possibly can. Plus she works absolute wonders with her hands! I always leave feeling less tense and in less pain. I would recommend her so highly to anyone who is currently pregnant and struggling with pain. Thanks again, Jo!

I really like Herts Osteopathy, they keep me moving despite my mobility problems. Every osteopath I've seen here has been kind, respectful and very knowledgeable.

My only complaint is that it's not very accessible, with lots of stairs to go up and if you have bad legs like me that makes it a challenge.

Herts Osteopathy (especially practioner Rhupal) are professional, caring, excellent Osteopaths. I have used Rhupal's expertise for a few years to improve and maintain my mobility. I always recommend them.

Jo Day and her team are excellent. I went to see Jo through my pregnancy for fortnightly appointments and she made sure that I was properly aligned to carry the weight of my baby. Prevented back pain even though I had a history of spinal surgery prior to pregnancy and suffered with my back normally. She worked a miracle making my pain go away. Thank you Jo.

4 sessions in and the improvement in my pain levels and mobility is incredible! Despite years of chronic pain and increasingly restricted movement in many areas of my body, I am already experiencing huge relief. I am sleeping better, can play with my kids without constantly telling them to be careful of my shoulder/hip/etc, have been able to greatly reduce the amount of pain medication I'm taking, am experiencing fewer headaches, my only regret is not having it all looked at earlier!

Had I known Osteo treatment could be so effective I wouldn't have delayed, and as Herts Osteopathy was recommended to me by a trusted friend I was confident I would receive excellent care. I really feel like Maria is genuinely aiming to make a real difference, and in addition she takes the time to answer any questions I have about my areas of pain, or the treatment she is providing. Please don't wait like I did!

I went here for prenatal osteopath, then Cranial Osteopathy and post natal care. For each service the team were absolutely amazing. I went from having excruciating pelvic pain in pregnancy to being able to exercise again after my treatments, my baby found the treatments calming and the post natal care was critical. I only wish these treatments were integrated in the NHS as they were an integral part of my pre and post natal health.
