Steve was excellent and helped me get over a recurrence of lower back pain in September 2021 over the course of a few sessions. Staff are friendly, the practice is quiet and located a couple of minutes away from Walthamstow Central - highly recommended.

Professional, skilled and most important mDe major Improvement and adjustments that have eased the pain and restriction considerably in just one session and follow sessions are worthwhile as well.

I started coming here in January after a full-on 3-day migraine. My migraines were a regular every monthly cycle thing (every month, full-on debilitating migraines), but have stopped / slowed down since Stephen has been treating me. He uses osteopathy and medical acupuncture in my neck, which releases tension in the muscles which clamp down on the nerve which goes to my brain.
It's been gradual, at first I needed to have an appointment twice a month, and the migraine came but went easily with some medication. Now, if I have an appointment every 2 months the migraine either doesn't come at all or there's a mild headache, and I might use a paracetomol or Sudafed and it'll go. We're trying to gradually take it to once every 3 months... It's a work in progress, but the important thing, is that it's working.
I highly recommend trying this, if you suffer from migraines (if you are not local and looking to try another osteopath, then make sure you ask for one who does medical acupuncture).

The treatment and consultation I've received here has been first class - Steve and the rest of the team are great and the wraparound service and attention to detail (local parking permits, easy, automated booking systems, strong COVID policy) along with being a really friendly bunch makes this an easy 5 stars.

Professional, kind and honest osteopathic treatment!

I have been seen by Iain and I particularly appreciated the honesty and professionalism of this practice.

Their aim is not to make you book dozens of sessions but what you actually require.

Thanks to the 2 sessions I had I am now little bit more conscious of what could be the possible different causes of my back pain. And also more careful of my posture when sitting which is big part of the life of somebody that has an office job. I definitely recommend Iain for his professionalism and honesty!

Iain Chapman is an incredible osteopath. We originally took our son to get checked over post a forceps delivery. Iain was thorough, carried out a pre-assessment by asking us a few questions about the pregnancy, and then carried out a careful assessment of our baby and worked his magic. It improved our little ones sleep. My wife and I then decided to get assessed ourselves and sort our backs out (we’ve had long standing problems), this was a very wise investment into our health. We’ve been going regularly and have started feeling a lot more relaxed and flexible. Iain is very knowledgeable, skilful and deeply cares about his craft. We definitely recommend him.

I went to see Iain at Walthamstow Osteopaths to try and alleviate my back pain, when nothing else (exercise, stretching, sports massage) was helping.

I felt a world of difference after the first session, and it took just three sessions for me to be completely pain-free. It's been my first experience of osteopathy, and would 100% recommend Iain and Walthamstow Osteopaths to anyone else suffering back pain!

Steve has been brilliant and when I first went in to see him I was having a lot of pain walking due to osteoarthritis in my left hip and pain in my back. He was really clear about what he was able to do and how to help and how I can help myself. I’ve been to osteopaths before and this is the first time I’ve been told that I would have 3 sessions and then review. And he stuck to his word. The third session I left having marked improvement in my hip. I’m not cured, that would be a miracle, but the improvement is close to a miracle.
Thank you Steve.
