The Shirley Practice

I first contacted Ben last week with regards to my back pain. I had just taken up running and had already managed to hurt myself!
I had been given The Shirley Practice number by my mum who had also recently been to see Ben with back problems. She had nothing but good things to say about the practice, and insisted I call Ben.
The appointment was scheduled for the next day. Ben was very thorough with diagnosing my back pain and explaining what he was doing. The session was about an hour long and I walked out feeling very happy with the treatment that I had received. The next day was amazing, I've had no back pains since and have felt completly back (no pun intended) to normal. Im still a novice runner so no doubt there will be a few more tweaks and jars that I will need Bens expert help with. I would definitely recommend The Shirley Practice to anyone.

I found the Shirley practice on Google last week regarding my Mum back pain. The appointment was scheduled on the same day because my Mum was in severe Pain. I found the practice very warm and friendly. Ben is so kind and professional. We were late on our appointment because of traffic but Ben waited for us.
After two sessions my Mum's back was feeling a lot better. I would definitely recommend them!

I contacted Ben after tweaking something in my back whilst training which wasn't getting any better. I was very surprised to be offered an appointment that same evening which I gratefully accepted. I found Ben to be very professional and knowledgeable; following a thorough initial examination he started treatment that same session and the next day things were much improved. I have been back for further treatment sessions to address other niggles and received the same first class service each and every time. I would highly recommend Ben as an Osteopath.

I have been attending The Shirley Practice regularly for a number of years due to ongoing back & neck problems. The treatment I receive helps me keep off painkillers. Ben is courteous, honest & reliable & if at any time I need any extra treatment he will always fit me in. I have also referred a friend who suffers from Polymyalgia to him & she is very happy with the treatment she receives. I would highly recommend this service to others.

I saw Ben a couple of years ago for a shoulder problem and his service was excellent. I've been having lower back pain for the past couple of weeks and Ben has once again been working his magic. Simple no fuss treatment carried out by an expert. Highly recommended.

Just finished a series of treatments with Ben for a shoulder / upper arm injury. The sessions were rigorous, thorough and professionally executed and I could feel the benefits as treatments progressed. Appointment times were adhered to and no waiting around. All Covid-19 measures in place. Should the need arise in future Ben will be my first point of call.

I tolerated excruciating pain for 3 weeks , tried absolutely everything to the point I would have cried if it didn’t make it worse.
Saw Ben once and as soon as he started the massage I was feeling’yes, this will work’! It did.

Obviously I was in pain still for a couple more days, but the movement in my neck was so much easier.

Ben is 5* very professional, friendly, and very good at his job. Every time I have a problem with my back, neck or arm, I know just where to go. And after the first session the next day I’m already feeling much better, by the following session the pain is gone.
