Liked: Big pitch size, location

Disliked: Very poor facilities - not heated, what is not ideal in may. No electricity in facilities, very poor or no light. No light or hot water in the washing area.
Facilities are in general very old, not well maintained (spiderwebs literally everywhere) and very basic.

They cut the grass but didn’t collect it so it was everywhere!! In a tent, in a car.. we couldn’t get rid of it.

Staff very friendly and could not have done any more to make our stay more enjoyable. Rooms were comfortable with tea and coffee facilities included. Food was excellent and plenty of it. Beautiful setting and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

This is such a beautiful place for the girls to get outdoors and make friends.

My daughter has been here for a one day event and a weekend stay over and she loves it.

Please support them to keep the outdoors protected.

I absolutely loved going here for an activity day. I did rock climbing 🧗‍♂️ and archery 🎯 and the three instructors we had from the team at foxlease were friendly and helpful.

Liked: When we arrived at Foxlease, booking in was simple, just gave our name and paperwork was printed out ready for us. We then took our car to the field and pitched up. No issues at all. In the evening we were treated to dear and their young feeding opposite . pitches were spread out and the whole ambiance of the site is very relaxing. This is a site for campers, toilets and showers are basic but that's what we expected. It was great to see the site being used by scout groups (in another field) and other campers with young children. Social distancing sensibly observed, no issues. Wildlife, flora and forna is fantastic. The camping field is near a road, but the noise quickly turned to "white noise" for us and was never an issue. selfishly I hope this site retains it's "scouting and guiding" heritage and does not become too commercial. We will be back soon.... This site would be perfect for bikepacking or folks wishing to take a stepping stone into wild camping... along with normal family campers.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Lovely location to explore the new forest and nearby beaches.
I had my two dogs with me who were made a fuss of by all staff and made us so welcome.
The staff were very helpful throughout our stay, helping us plan walking routes etc.

Disliked: The toilet / shower blocks definitely need a good clean or jet wash! However they are usable

Liked: Clean toilets and showers.

Paddocks were not overly populated allowing you to spreadout and not feel on top of other campers.

Great location. Walking distance to the town and gate access directly to the New Forest.

Disliked: No washing up sinks.

Bins were overflowing on the Monday.
