Had an awesome hour messing about on the water. Staff are lovely, water is clear, just right on a hot day. The cafe is a long way from the waterside and didn't have a very big menu, so we went to Dulverton for lunch.

Went to this lovely lake to do some paddle boarding with our own SUPs. Check in was painless and very friendly and we had a lovely day. The only negative was the state of the showers (which the use of is included in your launch fee). They were so grotty that we decided to wait until we got home for a shower.

There was a wide range of water activities, the staff at the activities centre are very helpful and nice. I had a great time and it was £16 per person for paddle boarding, it is a great day out and the lake is a large enough to have loads of people there. You can bring your own board but you just need to speak to the staff and pay for parking.

Booked high ropes activity for a 9 & 14 year old both really enjoyed it also challenging enough for the oldest & jude was great with the group.
Small coffee shop on site toilets pay & display parking uneven track around lake also loads of other activities to entertain children/adults for all abilities.

Great day out at wimbleball lake. We had our own kayaks and took a picnic out. Staff friendly and helpful. We've previously done sailing courses there and instructors were great too.

The kids 10 and 13 loved the sup 2 hour session they had here with Jude . Definitely worth the money. Life jackets and wetsuits are provided too.

Lovely place to have a walk, enjoy with family and friends. We took our barbecue and stuff with us. Free parking, free entry. The water activities are not free. You have to book and pay for it.

Wimbleball lake is delightful even when (as when we were there) it was incredibly low following the 2022 drought. The open vistas of the northern end are a complete contrast to the oak woodlands of the southern part. The path around it is a great walk and well worth the effort. Safe parking and a cafe are also available.
