Such a cool experience! It's a bit out of the way, but so so worth the (very pretty) drive. Joanne is so knowledgeable and sweet, and it's very clear that her birds are loved and very well cared for. Your booking is for just your group (at least for the 1.5 hour mini experience, which is what we did), so you get to relax and enjoy the experience and the beautiful grounds and ask all the questions you may have - no crowds. I feel so lucky to have had this chance to see and touch and fly and feed these incredible birds of prey! Thanks Joanne!

We absolutely loved our time at Kintail Birds of Prey! It exceeded all expectations. She had so many birds out and let us take our time meeting them all. They were all so well behaved and didn’t spook when our toddler got too interested in them. We had such an amazing experience, I’d recommend this to everyone and would love the chance to do it again. It was a dream come true and exceeded all expectations.

Joanne was excellent from start to finish.
She met us at the gate having booked a 1.5hr falconry experience.
She introduced the 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child) to all of the birds up close and then we had the chance to fly a number of them.
We all got given falconry gloves and Joanne demonstrated exactly what to do.
The birds are all stunning (as is the scenery) and to see them up close like that is quite an experience.
All our questions were answered with confidence and clarity as Joanne clearly knows her subject incredibly well.
Very good value for money and a morning we will all remember forever.

We booked the 1 1/2 hour experience for our anniversary. Joanne introduced us to all the birds which are well looked after and was very knowledgeable, she answered all our questions. We were then able to handle them and fly some of them. The experience was so enjoyable the time went too quickly and we hardly noticed the rain. I would recommend Joanne and Kintail to anyone who loves seeing nature close up. We would go again tomorrow if we could, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our thanks to Joanne.

We booked the 1.5 hour falcon experience. Great communication prior to arrival; we arrived early and still no problem. Felt like first class VIP service - visiting during the Autumn/Winter definitely helped. We had Joanne the owner all to ourselves. Her knowledge and experience is very clear. We felt safe and supported to try and hold a little Owl, Peregrine Falcon and a Goshawk. The Golden Eagle is stunning! The birds also look very well looked after and the surrounding are very peaceful. You can take photos. There is a toilet and a wee shop. Highly recommend for families with children who are obsessed with animals…
