Parkwood Outdoors Dolygaer

Amazing friendly greeting and overall expirience at this camping site. No signal at all, which for some is a minus star but for us allowed a lovely tech free camping experience. Lovely view of the reservoir and a good variety of walks nearby. Staff were helpful in recommending local spots for walking and wild swimming. Non electric pitches allowed for the propper camping experience. Definitely will come again! Thanks!

We had a great time hiring some canoes here with the kids. The instructors were very helpful and friendly - they had the idea of rafting our canoes together to keep it stable for the kids and let the dog come too!

The centre is a great spot, with lots to do.

Be a little careful with booking. I'd recommend calling them rather than relying on the various online systems, which aren't always up to date with correct availability.

Our two 14yr old boys went paddle boarding - first with Rowan and then with Siobhan and had an absolutely fab time. They were given great instruction from friendly fun instructors and were allowed to properly enjoy themselves in the stunning setting of the Brecon reservoirs. They thoroughly enjoyed the 2 sessions they had - for 3 hrs each time and it really made their holiday.

I visited with my family for a half day gorge walk. Our guide was Matt and he was absolutely fabulous with my 10 year old son. The activities were fun, well managed and safe (although still managing to be nerve wracking!). All the equipment was well fitted. The environment was stunning. Matt was really encouraging and made a rainy day in the woods an unforgettable experience.

The whole family had an excellent experience with Parkwood. A special thank you to Siobhan and Matt - they were very knowledge, personable and made the activities extremely good fun! We tried gorge walking, canoeing, paddle boarding, bush craft, archery and zip wiring all of which were well worth the time and money. Thank you for a great holiday!

We had an amazing few days as a family. The facility is located in a very special and idyllic part of Wales. The activities were fantastic and the staff were super friendly and great fun! We loved it and will be back again next year.

We stayed in the chalet for two nights. Fun bunk beds. Warm water on demand and good heating twice per day. Beautiful location. All activities from 8 years old unfortunately but nevertheless Pen y Fan and Mountain Railway only around the corner! Staff are amazing too. Highly recommend!!

We were a group of 24 doing activities on the weekend (rock climbing and squirrel run) We all had a great time and it was all really well organised. The children haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had. Thanks :)
