We walk in the Brecons every year and this our go to outdoor store
Recently my Lowa boots developed a small tear in the stitching
Gibbs asked that I returned them to them by post and that would they take up the problem with Lowa on my behalf. Next thing I know is I have received a brand new pair in the post. Excellent service would highly recommend

Good selection of high end, quality outdoor gear but expect to pay premium prices that these offerings command. There is little here for the mid or low price point buyer. Staff, unfortunately, are not very friendly or welcoming which is a great shame as top prices should really come with top service.

Quality brands, but staff unfortunately are unfriendly which can be off putting. Felt we were being watched as potential shop lifters, no offers of help ( although I previously worked in the same retail type of goods so that wasn't a problem) .
Asked if they did NHS discount..the woman replied smugly that yes to Blue Light Card (which I also have) ha!

Absolutely top class customer service.

Fantastic service from Ian recently, who helped me find my next set of boots. Went out of his way to not only bring me the boots I asked to try but 3 or 4 others he thought might suit me based on what I had said I was looking for. At no time felt rushed, and he talked me through each boot he had brought to try. Their knowledge and experience was great.
In the days when we can all go online and save a few pounds by shopping around, the in person shopping experience is lost and in turn, so is the knowledge and experience they have to help guide you to the best item for you.
They also threw in a free pair of good quality socks, which was an unexpected but appreciated gesture!
