Please avoid at all costs. I cannot believe this company is still trading for vehicle repairs. After 3 months of non-existent customer service and being unable to speak to anyone other than the 2 incompetent and unknowledgeable receptionists who gave me lies and excuses, multiple calls not returned out of 30+ I made and the parts manager supposedly checking every day to source the parts, my car was returned in the same state it went in, however within a week it was fixed elsewhere and back on the road at a third of the price quoted by 8 Ball (£350 as opposed to £1200). It seems I am not alone in this situation after reading other reviews and I urge others to take this further, as I will be doing, to the Company Director, the Ombudsman and the Insurance Group who appointed them as an approved repairer.

DO NOT LET YOUR CAR GO TO 8 BALL after my car was repaired at 8 ball 3 times and they had it over 5 months for a new bumper and headlight, after the third time they dropped it off, we were not in at the time, when we got back and saw the car it was disgraceful, a bit of the bumper was hanging off a hand print in the paint and scratches in the paint I have been to a different car body shop and it will cast £3000 to put the car back to normal I would highly recommend that you don’t let your car go to them at any cost. Press 1 for customer service... that's the first lie and after that came lie after lie after lie. The 2 girls who answer the phone come up with some great ones! The service manager John is no better. Got a text from him saying all parts were in and it would take an hour next day. Only to be told by the liar girls it would be another week but I can have my car back on the 29th. Another lie as that was a Bank Holiday! The service manager John told me that if I wanted to shout I should go to the garage and try shouting to his face! Again great customer service! When I read the comments about the lies this company tell I thought surely not, but yes they are all true. I had to report them to my insurance company. Then I got a call that went along the lines of, your insurance company have rung and told us to apologize for Johns behaviour. Nothing about their behaviour. Asked why John couldn't do it himself was told he's off. Another lie, not sure?No apologies from the liars! This has been going on since April and just got my car sorted. I had to give a star to leave a comment but it would have been a minus 5! Please do not use this garage. My insurance company have said that they'll not put any more work their way and they don't want to be associated with such a company. If you do use them and have problems which lm sure you will, contact your insurance straight away and let them deal with them! They also told me my parts would be 2 weeks. Asked what parts, did a Google search and could get the parts next day which I offered to do for them. Only to be told they use just 1 supplier. Time to look at new suppliers me thinks! Seriously do not go anywhere near this company unless you want a bad experience like l did. Worse lying poorly organisation company I have ever had the misfortune to be involved in! The best advice I can give anyone is see their name....run!!!

Although the job took longer than originally quoted when we did get the vehicle back it was an example of excellent work. Slight hiccup with communication though.

I cannot even begin to explain how dreadful this company is. I'm not usually one to complain, but they have honestly managed to make my blood boil.

I was delayed three times before the date my car actually got taken in for repair through a 3rd-party insurance company and I received their courtesy car for use. After weeks and weeks of false promises, delayed dates of arrival after repairs, etc they finally delivered it to my parents' house whilst I was away. My Dad is a paint sprayer by trade so is aware of what makes a good quality job and what doesn't, and he could safely say this was very poorly done. The sill still had a huge dent in it where they thought "Oh, it's just a little bit of blue paint; we can get away with just rubbing that off and then leaving the dent. She won't notice." My tracking was out, but they refused that it had even made contact with the wheel although there were still marks on the trims (also in blue paint) where the car had managed to go in to the wheel. Admittedly, the colour match wasn't awful - it isn't visible to the average person, but not entirely a perfect "custom" colour match.

We refused to take my car back until it was left in the state it was before my car was previously hit, but their Receptionist (Charlotte) had other ideas. She is consistently rude, argumentative and clearly does not know the meaning of the words customer service.

I have never experienced such bad service from a company, and hopefully I never will again. My car was hit on the 22nd of September and it is now the 9th of December, so overall it's been 11 weeks for this to be done and it still officially hasn't been. The insurance company have received a complaint about them and I'm hoping this gets looked in to and taken further, because not only does it reflect badly on 8 Ball but it certainly reflects badly on the insurance companies using them.

I am begging anybody considering using their services to not bother. Avoid this company like the plague.

Absolutely dreadful.

No confirmation email of date of repair.

They do not answer the phone or respond to telephone messages.

They do not respond to emails.

I had to wait 2 months if I wanted a courtesy car so I waited the 2 months but no courtesy car was available.

I asked them to collect the car anyway, even without a courtesy car; they just didn't turn up to collect.

They lied to my insurance company.

So I've waited two months for them not to repair my car. They should have just said they didn't want the work I'm the first place rather than keep me waiting for 2 months.

Totally untrustworthy. Don't touch with a bargepole.
