Pointers Field Park

Spent many a happy hour here as a child. Now has a trim trail type area, a small adventure playground and a hard enclosed football pitch with 2 intrusive basketball posts. Loads of space to run or walk dogs.

When I visited a guy repeatedly rode a minature motorcycle around seemingly to impress high school girls.

The park has some fairly good facilities but we needed to clear shards of glass from the basketball court before we could play.

Nice place to walk your dogs, friendly people good park for kids but there isn't very many things for them to play on so better when it's quiet.

Has lots of space for other games.

My local park. Lots of dog walking, play facilities for kids and strong community. All the locals know it.

Nice area for the kids to play. Currently have picnic on the park today with stalls to buy from

Aka The Pig Farm as there was a slaughterhouse nearby. This park is huge with something for everyone. Dogs allowed. Long zip-wire, wooden gymnastics frames, basketball court, sheltered seating areas, benches, a small young children's playground (enclosed).

Usually for me, I tend to cut across POINTERS FIELD to get easily into WATERLOO PARK or Angel Road.

But POINTERS FIELD Park is very often, extremely quiet, apart from a small group of young adults using The Basketball court to play/enjoy their games.

Nice open space with a multi use sports arena and several smaller kids utilities. No public restroom.
