Great for the dogs to have a good run and access the river if they are water babes. Great place for kids to ride their bikes on new bike track too.

Loads of green space along The river Calder, a footbridge and loads of footpaths and cycle paths some new infrastructure is on the way but not built yet friends group currently trying to bring in new investment into a very underfunded space but alot of potential needs a proper link along river under motorway to college opening it up to town centre and existing underused green spaces there and more signposts directing people through the space to Ightenhill Park and Greenway one day Gawthorpe Hall and Padiham along the river as I different alternative 👍 a great route complete contrast to the busy main road inbetween the 2 towns

Great place for the dogs to have a good run, and a paddle in the river. Scenic but was much better before the hotel was built, My dog loves it there

Right on my son's doorstep. Took my granddaughter there yesterday and we had a lovely walk and a play in the childrens' area

Lovely situation but badly spoiled by huge amounts of litter, plastic, bike frames and trolleys etc all along the river and through the nearby woods. Fish eating goosander in the river so fish must be in good numbers
