Brooklands Park and Lake

Brooklands is just getting better and better. It is a shame the train went. The playground has gone but a better one is in process of being built. Brooklands has now doubled in size and there are loads of new paths.

At last the improvement have started, the network of path are a great for accessibility for all. Let's hope the rest don't take year to be built

Really lovely open space to enjoy a walk through nature. There is some construction works underway making improvements, I think a new cafe, and the play area for kids (and big kids). Looks as though there is accessible play equipment too that will be ready soon 👍

Disappointed that the new splendid playpark has not been ready for half term. Still working on car park and no sign of the new cafe. Hopefully this café will be adequate for the new tenants to be able to make a profit.

I only give it 3 stars right now because it has a lot of renovations going on so it is great for dog walking or just walking, there is a lot going on nature wise, birds etc but not for me right now i will look again when all the work is done.

Visited the park for the first time in several months. We liked the smooth new tarmac paths and the updated facilities - the children's play areas are great (seemingly not open yet). Hopefully it won't be too much longer before there is a cafe on the site, although the Costa at the nearby BP garage is very handy. There are two car parks open on the A259 Brighton Road close to the garage should you need to drive there (the other car park is currently closed). There were numerous birds on and around the lake and we've never seen so many cormorants in one place. Well worth a visit.

I hadn't been to Brooklands for years and was so amazed at its transformation! So lovely! Has a a pathway all around the lake, a park for children, a picnic area and plenty of places to sit. The wildlife was amazing and we saw plenty of it! Ducks, swans, a heron, Reed warblers and lots of other wild birds oh and squirrels 👍 very impressed 🌟

I love this park. Go there most days.
Great lake and birds. Lovely trees. It's like a small nature reserve.
My dog Sid loves it....
