Alkincoats Park

Nice park for all ages and abilities. Bowling greens, tennis courts, café and lovely views from the secret garden at the top. It's also a good base to walk to the canal and reservoirs just farther on which are well worth exploring in beautiful countryside. Good food at the café in the park. Steep climb to to top of the park.

Park for the kids and picnic area for all. Lovely gardens to walk round, little cafe for a cup of tea and today we had the heat from the sun with a gentle breeze. Fabulous afternoon.

Lovely little place ,food amazing and price 👍👍. Staff friendly ,polite & welcoming. Definitely will be going back 😋 yummy home-made food.

Absolutely excellent food, staff are so accommodating. Plenty of choice to eat and drink. Definitely worth a visit

walking today with my 4month old puppy like i always do, a woman who looks like a guest on the jk show and her daughter with a large bulldog and a french bulldog, chased my dog from 1 end of the park to the other, dog didn't listen to her i nearly lost my dog and she yelped all the way to the bottom as i ran after her. if you can't control your dog they should be on a lead. people were telling me they are known on the park as irresponsible dog owners with no thought for other people. imagine if i was a 80yr old man i would of lost my dog. so beware. other than that 1 idiot everyone else is very friendly and have there dogs on leads if they can't be trusted and the park is a great place for dogwalks most days

Beautiful, large park with something for everyone. Outdoor sports facilities, playground, good sized parking lot, lots of trails with bird feeding, amazing lake view, carved wood statues and a great little cafe.

My dad used to bring me down here as a lad , many happy a memories. He also walled down here everyday in the later days of him getting terminally ill.
I think of this place as his resting place.

It's a beautyful big park with a lot space for People who want to walk with children or pets. There is a Playground for children. Many place for parking your car near you find easy.it is aslo a very beautyful forest for a summer walk it is a beautyful place
