Nice quiet green, perfect for picnics and sun bathing. It's only missing a water feature

Safe and reasonably well enclosed park with tennis courts and kids play area, and is divided by a line of trees from the Cricket ground. Nice place to meet other dog walkers and have a picnic 😊

The park is enormous, with a small cafeteria, tennis courts, plenty of green grass for you to enjoy your activities.
Definitely a family park for lovely gatherings.

Lovely park. Well kept and tidy. Nice place to walk the dog or just to have a leisurely stroll around.

The new playground is lovely. There is a large wooden castle with slides and hide holes, bridges and nets. 2 zip lines. There are wooden balance beams.and tyres. Lots of benches to sit on, or if nice field space for blankets. There's a large slide and few bits in the wooded bit at the side. There is a lovely enclosed toddler play area, colourful and lots to do including slides and swings and trampoline and a climbing frame, more benches.
In the higher field its open space good for dog walking. There's a few older things for kids at the bottom of the higher field.

A huge park, an absolutely amazing one to go out and have a long walk, exercise or play with friends and family. Has got tennis courts as well. It's always fun to be at Calthorpe park any day of the year! Lush green end to end, but looks even better when it snows!

Fantastic playground for children and lovely pathway through the woodland. And if you go with your dog there are quite a few bins for the "poo-bags" well spaced around the park.
