Well where to begin...this recreation ground was to be revamped!!! I have never known such a long winded job and it's still not finished the area is still waiting for a tidy up of the wooded area which was started a few weeks ago but still not finished. The footpath is so near to our hedge it almost like people being in our garden. The whole project has been a mess and nothing like they said it would be when we attended a meeting early last year but I'm not surprised as most council projects seem to take for ever !!!!!!

Avergae park. Lots of off leash dogs, but right next to a main road. Path around the small field. Some exercise equipment and lots of play equipment for all aged kids. A few parking spaces at the front of the field.

Really nice to have a place for family with kids. It's well maintained but I wish it had more swings

Actually is really good place for kids. Cute lil football pitch, and the playarea is good too.

Really peaceful during week days, safe. I spend my break there now and then, only parents and kids, dog walkers, really safe. However, the odd yob or weed smoker, can make your experience really annoying, and spoil the peace. That is why I give it 4 stars. Otherwise recommended!

Great to see large groups of Mums and children all spread out having picnics while others either played on the large selection of swings..climbing frames etc..or played football on the other half. Great place for children!

Normally take a walk through with my little boy and it's ok but can get busy if weather nice but quieter now shops and schools are open. Ps. You do get a few teenagers there later in the day so earlier the better.
