This is a local park with no trees and no flowers... it’s just a flat patch of grass more suitable for cattle than for humans, where the locals converge and practice their sports and activities. It’s really nothing special, but I suppose it’s better than nothing. It’s peaceful enough, as there are no roads around it; it borders with a school and with private gardens. At the centre there is a sad nursery, that looks more like a cage for children than anything else and a playground for children open to the public. Since a few years the height of vehicles allowed in the carpark has been limited to 1.9m, so if you have a van, apparently you’re not welcomed. By the way, dogs are not allowed here. The park closes at night.
The car park is often used by youths to smoke weed.

Very open park; brilliant for running, with football pitches, big playground and a grotty looking nursery. Good free parking there; height restriction so some vans won't get in. Dogs not allowed.

Thank you to Sutton council for putting in more exercise equipment there. But BOO HISS to Sutton council for the horrible litter which they rarely/never(?) clean up.

Down sides: No toilets. Lots of people urinate behind tress. It has very few trees, zero flowers and is mostly just playing fields. Could more trees be planted in the park? A small cafe would be great too.

My daughter was invited to her friend’s Birthday party. The Overton park is a lovely place, enjoyed the weather, foods and company.

Overton park is a great place! the only reason i gave it 3 stars because of the toilets. The last time the toilets were open was around 5 years ago. And it was so dark and stinky. The toilets were so unhygienic. That may need improving. Also the children there. After school children decide to break glass bottles around the park. But other than that overton park is a great place to hang out with friends, have picnics, etc

A mostly clean park with football and cricket pitches. There is a children's playground with a mix of equipment for young and old children. There is a newish tarmac path running through the park. A number of saplings were planted a few years ago beside the path. There are a number of pieces of outdoor gym equipment around the park with a cluster near to the playground. There is also a permanent table tennis table.

There is a good walking/jogging loop around the outside of the park which had become more used over the last few years.

There is a sizable car park. The entrance is secured at dusk which keeps the park quieter at night.

Bumsadaisies nursery is also located close to the park entrance. Overton Grange secondary school is located next to the park and use the field for sports.

The park would benefit from more bins and increased frequency of emptying of the bins around busier parts of the year. Sadly plastic bottles and other rubbish is left on the pitches.

I have never seen the toilets open. The keys are given to groups who rent the pitches. Which is not great when you have small children using the playground equipment.

Playground is safe and varied. Take my 4 Grandsons there often. It's the park of their choice. There's a super footpath and a wide open area for scooter riding too. Shame the zip wire has gone though and it would benefit from having toilets.

Awesome large park perfect for an 8 kg run around the perimeter of the full park. Gorgeous selection of trees and park amenities, a lil café, public toilets, tennis courts, rose garden
