Nice area by the Hogsmill river, but without many water birds. It is a bit noisy at the end closest to the A3 but as you get further away it is harder to hear the cars.

A great short walk to take with family, friends or walk your dog.
A great nature area to see birds, insects and fish in the stream.
A few places to picnic, remember to take your rubbish home though.

A wonderful place to walk and to escape to nature. It's near the A3 and you can hear traffic when you get nearer, but ithervtgan that you'd never know it was so close. Headphones? 😁

Great place to take a social distance walk with friend with two legs or four! If you have children that need to blow of steam head here they can walk in woods, use swings or try there luck with catch fish in the stream!

Nice riverside walk along banks of the hogs mill river. Lots of wildlife and sometimes can spot fish in the river. Can be made into a loop rather than there and back. Popular with dog walkers, not a good surface for bike riding

RIP "the climbing tree" and "the original climbing tree" (the small oak with the low fork that that little kids could climb up into) - my kids are absolutely gutted! This was the place that got us through two lockdowns and what kept them wanting to come play outside in the open space. We will miss your sideways climbing branch the most.

A lovely area beside the Hogsmill River to enjoy the unfolding spring as a heron glides silently above the flowing water. Despite being near the bypass and adjacent housing, this is still a tranquil spot.

I have seen Kingfishers by the Hogsmill catching small fish.
I've also seen trout (only small ones) but
Big enough for a barbecue!!
Also wild fruits, vegetables and flowers
are worth a visit!!!Dave Lloyd.
