A pleasant green area with a large pond in the middle where there is a large and varied population of ducks, geese and swans. It is at the beginning of the Wandle Trail - you can go out at the northern the northern side, turning left into Mill Lane and walking along the path to Beddington Park.

I haven't been here for over a year. Was surprised and disappointed to see it was not as nice and well kept as before. Perhaps due to the bankruptcy...😕 still seeing all of the birds more than made for it. Everyone loves to feed the geese and ducks. Another plus I think it is quiter than other parks considering there a two minute walk from Purley Way

Really nice park, just the smell of the water can be a bit too much sometimes

The place itself is really quite beautiful. Lots of very pretty trees, a nice bridge, plenty of birds. The water was a little dirty by the bridge but that may have been due to the heatwave we had recently, the rest of it seemed clean.

Unfortunately there was also a lot of poo, I'm not a poop expert but some of it may have been from all the geese?!

Also, one of the bins in the play area was overflowing and there was a dirty nappy and other wrappers etc strewn about on the floor.

The see-saw was broken, but the kids still managed to have a lot of fun on the other equipment.

I did visit quite late in the day so perhaps it would have been clearer if we'd been in the morning, but it was quite quiet so the kids managed to play without any waiting.

Lots of waterbirds. The odd kingfisher. Loads of parakeets. Not particularly dog friendly. Has a small section fenced off, but it's not suitable for dogs that need a secure area, or need space from other dogs. There is also a fenced off play area with equipment. Not really suitable for ball games.

I spent time relaxing here on a Saturday noon. The pond covers most of the parks, you can see waterfowl such as swans, coots, ducks (i also saw baby mallards and a whole family of swans with 7 growing cygnets). The waterfowl are quite well fed here, on my visit I didn't see anyone feeding them bread, just pellets from the pet shop which is a good thing. Only thing I didn't like is that the top left side of the pond isn't really accessible from the children's playground but nevertheless I enjoyed my visit.

Calm and a relaxing place. Lots of geese, swans, ducks and other birds. Feeding of the birds are allowed (bird seed, duck feed, grains like wheat, corn and uncooked oats only, no bread please). Good place to visit with children. There is also a small children's park nearby.
