It's been a much nicer atmosphere since they put the new exercise equipment, BUT unfortunately the kids play bit is a bit of a dump. Massive pot holes in the astro turf, astro turf raised from grounded so a lot of children trip or buckle over it, and theres hardly any activities for younger children, its mostly for older children. Could really do with a revamp! (And this comment is coming from someone who has lived a 30 second walk from this park for the last 21 years - so I've seen the park change over the years!)

nice but not much matenence for the park. Paddling pool has no water. playground equiptment is broken. Bins over flowing. toilets are DISCUSTING. cafe is expensive and never open. other than that a great place to go.

We are every day in the park (or twice a day).nice place but very dirty!!!! Lots of dogs poo and rubbishes. It’s like they (council) forget about our field.

Brings back memories, had fun in that park used to go there at any time. The park itself was not that good in terms of the broken fence, there is little stuff do to there but I still had fun. :D

It's a lovely park when its clean. Unfortunately brit school kids like to leave their rubbish all over the place.
It has a good playground, outdoor gym and a basketball court /small football area.

5 stars for me because it has a outdoor gym setup for calisthenics, which I train. There's also a children's park and a cage for football and basketball. Some grass areas too. Not the best looking park but does the job.

At 33 I personally only use this park to train in. Started training the very first day of the lockdown and I found this park has the perfect calisthenic apparatus (wicksteed...look it up) for all levels from beginners to pros, a friendly atmosphere, great for kids and adults alike. As for dogs..I would suggest a degree of caution if you are a dog owner, the temperament of another dog isn't observes until it is too late sometimes, although very rare it is something that happens. By the way I have been going to this park for 23 years and it has changed (for the better) a lot!! Probably the best it's been in years!!
