Been upgraded over time but alot of work still to make it safe

Two parcels of managed woodland on steep slopes between pedestrian steps with limited and restricted access.
An admirable project, commitment and perseverance evident here but really of limited interest to the wider public who appear to be kept at arms length and probably for good reason.

Google keeps on at me about reviewing this Wood, because of the locked shut gates I cannot in all fairness give it more than two stars. Visited on the early May Bank Holiday Monday

Locked-up and inaccessible unless you are a primary school child from the connected school.

Until then, I didn't know it existed.

If you come to Belsize Park you should go to see the park is a small and nice area.

A small but peaceful tangle of wood amidst an eclectic residential area. There are a couple of trails taking you up and through the park. It is a pleasant place to walk through and perhaps sit for a minute.

Unfortunately it never seems to be open, besides occasional hours during the weekend. No sign to advise the visitor of when it’s open, but I’m pretty sure it’s closed Monday through Friday for sure.

Disappointing.
