Maurice Lea Memorial Park

Amazing park/grounds. I'm not originally from this area, but I love taking my son there. He can run for days. There's so much to do. It's very well kept. And we love the performances etc that go on in the Pavillion in the summer months

It's a beautiful park. The wardens are always there keeping on top of it. There's a wide variety of plants and shrubs to look at, exercise equipment and a fantastic play park.

Our local park is part of our walking route every day. Beautifully maintained by South South Derbyshire Council.

Lovely, compact park with all that's needed for a restful (or energetic) time. Large grassed open areas, trees, child's play area, tennis, basketball courts, table tennis, five-a-side. Planted borders, bandstand. Also, well maintained, with little evidence of vandalism. A little gem!

This is my local park and is a very good size as it contains two football pitches, tennis courts, basketball court, table tennis tables, bowling green, play area and a bandstand. There's also toilet facilities. There is so much to do here from young to old with many events being arranged throughout the year. It's also a good place to help you keep active and fit as there are many activity benches around the 1km circumference of the park, so it's also a good place to jog, walk and run too.

Uttoxeter brass band playing. Really good.
Not sure if dogs are allowed off lead but many dogwalkers use park so they would advise you.

Junior parkrun Sunday morning 9am. Good facilities and always a friendly welcome from the parkrun volunteers. Nice play area though a little tired in some places
