Huge open playing field for a walk, picnics and games. Every weekend loads of football games. Good for scouting aspiring future football players. Parking available. Near the Collonades and War Memorial.

It's very nice place to go but issues
1 there should be some shades fir rain or hot weather as its huge place.
2 parking should be designed in such a way that if some one pull in just to relax or to go in the park it won't disturb other residents who start getting worried why some one is parked their which is kind of understandable. Should make smart parking arrangements on all side of park.
3 more activities and more small kids areas should get placed around park rather than one area. It's just a waste of space or can't make most out of it as massive field but no maximise usage.
Small cafe or mobile food stall
More outdoor activities for adults to be chipped in.

Huge green and easy to make enough space to do whatever you feel like as well as municipal sports fields.

Shambolic, not a nice place to play if it’s raining, no shade, no changing rooms. The pitches aren’t level, nobody’s asking for it to be Premier League standard, but the council could’ve at least included basic facilities.

The Great Plains of Croydon! Vast open space, with a sufficient parking options across the two pavilions or at the base of the park by the retail park. Great place to go to if you want the opposite feeling of claustrophobia and a view of croydons finest skyline.

Only downside is sometimes the grass isn’t cut frequent enough result in swampy cluffs of grass. And the field is quite downhill which makes any football match truly a game of two halves.

Still, one of the better parks in Croydon. Will come back.

Lovely place for a walk with family. But seems they have not trim the grass recently. They playground needs some upgrading work as it need more entertaining staff for kids. And if they do the improvement the whole community will benefit from it

Purley Way Playing Field is opposite Roundshaw Downs Nature Reserve and with serval grass football fields.
A good field to have run around and spend time out doors. If you live locally this will be a good jogging or running route.
