Valence Park

I was visiting my mum, when I had a pleasant walk around the park. I was disappointed to find the gate to the moat locked.
Me and a mate used to watch the anglers, mostly old boys fishing, in the late sixties early seventies.
I think then, it was Becmaine and Wangey Angling Club who used to run the lake..
Still, nothing lasts..

Decent size park with kids play area.

Although I would avoid the ice cream vendor, rude attitude and continues to charge for card payments even when the transaction is over £10.

A lot of things to do for kids different age, car park quiet big as well.

A nice park for walking or working out... It's the blue skies for me. It has a play area for kids and gym for adults... A clean park as well.

Nice to walk my dog. Playground for children ,cafe for snacks my only gripe was there were rats running around near the lake,not good..

Park has its own museum and annual show for the battle of Valence. Counsel does a great job with upkeep

Nice and quiet... Big enough for exercise, getting some fresh air...

Great park but need some light after sunset- all lamps are not working. Big family of rats running around the pond.
