Lovely peaceful place, we walked over 5 miles. Well worth a walk up to see the miners statue, the views are stunning. On a clear day you can see Lincoln Cathedral which is 32 miles away, we could just see it yesterday. Highly recommended 💛 💛 💛

Lovely walk with various directions, some paths are longer than others, lovely statue of a miner checking for gas on a hill top, beautiful views from said area. Great walk for families, dogs and solo.

This is a beautiful place to visit for a picnic or bike ride. The park is huge and there are good pathways all around. Some of the big ones have been gravelled but if you fancy a track there are plenty of them just off the main one. The carpark is free which is a bonus. Please be mindful if you're taking your doggies to be vigilant as even though there are pathways that say no horseriders you might still come across one.

Walk the many pathways and take time to listen to the many birds singing their mating song.
Stop by the ponds and see a heron on its nest before moving on to see 'Flat Cap', testing for gas miner statue.
Very nice especially when that ball of light is burning brightly in the sky.

Lovely, peaceful walk. Nice and hilly or flat depending on the route you choose.
No litter which was nice to see

Always a great place for a walk, can always find a nice secluded trail to wonder down, or stick to a more established path, great views for the top of the hill, and seating available all the way round the paths. Not the best place for a pram/pushchair or wheel chair though as the paths are quite stoney and uneven. Some great ponds there too to feed ducks or let your dogs paddle.
