An open field, right in the heart of West Bridgford, links up to main transport, and to Bridgford Park. A great place for exercise: walking, tai chi, etc, well maintained by Streetwise, who kindly sort out any litter that has been dropped. Can get muddy in winter, the field borders onto the old railway embankment, retained for trees and a wild woodland. Sadly it should be a 5* amenity, but is somewhat taken over by dogs and their owners. So watch out for dog dirt, around the edges, its a popular spot with dog owners and not all care about the bylaws, or the unpleasant effects on others.
