Is located in Central Cambridge, so it's easy to get to and is quite nice as it contains a few benches with well maintained grass. Events are usually held here due to its easy access and large space. Can sometimes get busy.

Parker’s piece is always very beautiful and clean. It’s a great spot to play games with friends, go for a walk, or just sit. There is a big controversy going on where the city council wants to install a big wheel for tourism. If you are able, do vote against that. It takes up a huge part of Parker’s Piece and detracts a lot from the beauty of the grounds. I’m not sure when the installment was set to take place but I hope it doesn’t happen!
There are lots of shops and restaurants along the sides of Parker’s Piece. Check out Espresso Library if you fancy some beautiful brunch bites.

Nearby the Cambridge police station. There is a public toilet at the west corner, 20p per time. The Ferris wheel located at the center of the area, 6 pounds per person. Rotating with the white wheel and enjoying a new view of Cambridge is a good choice for me.

Magic of Thailand event. Food stalls were very tasty. Lady boy entertainment was terrible. Other singing performances were good.

I found this place while exploring the city during my first-time visit to Cambridge. Located in the heart of Cambridge City, Parker's Piece is a huge, well-maintained lawn with a Ferris wheel in it. I got to know from the localities that this place hosts events, exhibitions, food stalls, fairs, etc every now and then. Unfortunately, during my visit there were no events/food stalls happening, yet I had so much fun there enjoying my own company, strolling around the place, watching people bring their dogs for a walk, kids playing, people laying down and reading books while I picked my sketchbook and painted the Ferris wheel. I spent one of the best evenings in Cambridge here at Parer's Piece and it was such an amazing experience I could treasure. A must-visit place to spend a peaceful evening/a sunny day when in Cambridge!

These are the photos from a decade back.
This is the place that holds very near to my heart.
Its a place where people from all across life can go and relax, and I used to do the same.
I have played football, watched concerts, drank beer, ate my sandwich all at this gem of a park.

Had a lot of fun as a family. My 6 year old liked the ice skating the most. The down side is you have to carry cash for some of the rides. Some use token that you buy from the machine. The machine will just take any money you put in and give you tokens, no change. Don't put you £20 if you intend to use £10 because you won't get it back. I bought 10 tokens for £10 and used 9 token because the rides we used were 5 and 4 tokens! You'll find yourself with 2 or 3 tokens that you can't use if don't plan it in advance.
