Huntington Pit Mound

This pit mound is some of the spoil from Littleton colliery, it is a prominent landmark and has a diverse range of woodland wildlife. It really should be on your list of places to visit (and climb).

Good work out walking to top and lovely views

Short from the bottom to the top. A few steps near the top. Worth the climb for every sunset you can catch!

Not one for wheelchair users or people with arthritic knees, however it's a nice walk with benches in places that weaves around to the main base of the mound. You then have to climb, roughly, 90 steps to get to the top...but it is a beautiful view of Huntington village.

Good exercise and well worth it.

Views from the top are worth the steep climb! Wish they would replace the tattered flag though
