Northernhay Gardens

Went there as a part of red coat tours. Beautiful, well maintained garden with historical significance. There are roses, monuments and greenery everywhere, and it’s surrounded with parts of Exeter wall and history. Relaxing atmosphere and a great place to spend time with family and friends. Pet friendly too!

stunning variety of flowers, plants (and fruits!). There's a sunny high plateau near the castle, then the plain descents slowly forming a hidden valley

Nice elevated gardens adjacent to Exeter Central railway station, free to enter, huge impressive war memorial in the center, impressive views of the city.
Likes - Quiet, Views, Memorial.
Dislikes - not enough seating, unkept,
Worth a visit though.

In central part of Exeter - nice quiet park where You can sit and relax.

A nice & beautiful place for relaxation. Garden is just near the exeter central railway station. Calm and quiet environment to sit for chit-chat . Entry to this place is free.

Winter wonderland has just opened. Great experience on the ice rink. Friendly staff and helpers out on the ice. Fairground rides £4 for adult and some children's ride £2 or £3. You need to buy tokens, buy just what you need as no refunds. Father Christmas is also around in his grotto but we didn't visit. Not too busy when we were there but Christmas displays for photo opportunities if you do find yourself in a Q. Also food and drink stalls and some gifts and sweets. Easy to get to from the rail station or carparks nearby.

Very beautiful park in the middle of the city. Nice and clean with beautiful view. Quiet place if you want to read your book or just calm down from a busy day.

Nice place to visit to spend your leisure. Wonderful view and space.
