Adjoining The Lloyds building this well-maintained, award winning sunken garden counts among the handful of welcome pocket gardens scattered as oases amidst the encroaching corporate geography in the City of London.
Very pleasant, relaxing and accomplished.

This multilevel garden is on the site of the churchyard and church of St John Zachary destroyed during the great fire of London and it was never rebuilt. The churchyard was a film location for the US film adaptation of Stieg Larsson's 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' directed by David Fincher. These days is as a private city garden provided by the Goldsmiths’ Company and open to the public.
