The Manor Fields is a lovely spot to take the family to play or dogs to walk.

They are ex school playing fields which are now privately owned by the Manor Fields Association Charitable Incorporated Organisation . The charity maintains the fields for public use whilst trying to improve biodiversity and accessibility for all.

There has recently been a new gate and entrance surface added to aid accessibility into the fields.

They are fully enclosed by the houses in the surrounding area and so are ideal for taking children and dogs on without risk of them running out onto roads.

They have also held a dog event with stalls dog show and other dog activities on over the last few years which has become increasingly popular.

Such a brilliant place and I'm not aware of anywhere else in Chesterfield that offers the same facilities. It's been so beneficial to have a place that is enclosed and safe to let dogs off the lead, and it's benefited my puppy massively by allowing her space to socialise.

Nice open space to do what you want (within reason). Quiet space, dog walking or pocket drone flying😀
