A proper public park, an oasis of calm in a busy city. Large open areas, tree lined, and bordered one side by a tranquil and refreshing river, on the other the busy, humming Churchill Bypass. It has safe play parks, loos and quiet riverside walks and cycle paths. Sit contemplative upon a bench, feed the ducks, fish or take your lunch while enjoying the tree shaded tranquility only a park can provide. Excellent! 👍

Lovely park. Enough amenities to keep kids happy for 3 or 4 hours. Decent skatepark, zipline. 2 playparks, Frisby golf (1), parkour setup, bodyweight gym equipment, toilets, ample pay and display parking, river walk ( deep water) 5 aside pitch which doubles as basketball court.

This park has it all.....a river running beside, planted beautifully, skate park, exercise machines, toilets and a cafe. Also provides stunning views of the cathedral, perfect for photos

Lovely place to visit. Well laid and drained paths that track around the park with signage. Lovely views across the meadow and good play parks and exercise equipment for children.

Took the dogs round the park on the way through Salisbury to somewhere else but what a pleasure.
As a dog walker it was great to see plenty of bins but what a lovely well kept and presented park.
Lots of seatin many areas where you could lay out in the shade of a tree, and a lovely river running through.
Very well worth a visit, oh and toilets and a coffee van.

Very nice garden next to an overflowing Avon river. Fun place for kids and adults.
