Lovely open space. Pond with wildlife, newts etc in all but mid-summer. Accessible in wet weather on paths

Uckfield's Millennium Green is well kept and is an accessible breath of wildish countryside on the edge of the town. Its gravel paths look like they remain usable year round and there are hedgerows all around full of native English species of shrubs and trees. In early November 2020 there were thousands of ripe sloes - good for jam (or gin).

Clean park/walk popular with dog walkers. Suitable for wet/muddy weather as there is a gravel path which weaves through the grounds.
