Would be nice spot if ignorant people didn't just drop litter from cars

The name Boughton relates back to William Boughton, a landowner in the 18th Century. A distant relation to William, was Ann Boughton, who married William Caldecott, thereby becoming 'lady of the manor'.

A general green area of open space adjacent to the River Avon, this eight acre site has been owned by the council since 1947.

It is used for various sporting events, particularly Gaelic football.

Large open land with long grass along a river. Great for giving the dogs a good exercise. No parking

It's okay for a place to throw the ball for the dog. There's no parking which is a big let then and when it rains the place becomes a big marsh

Great open space with a simple fab bike track. In summer it's lovely and in winter go with wellies and waders for fab puddle wading with kids!
