Sort of open to the public, but not fully open.

It's essentially private land, people actually live in the house; therefore, you obviously can't go in it; however, the land surrounding it is open to the public... providing you stick to the path/road.

It has a Chatsworth House feel to the grounds and is remarkably peaceful and quiet...but that's about it, there's no toilets, no café, no parking so if you're after that kind of stuff your better off going elsewhere.

The history of the grounds is absolutely fascinating with records dating back to the Doomsday book of 1086, well worth looking into.

Absolutely huge, I went today for a Viking festival and didn’t see the whole park definitely would come back on a normal day to explore! Did get to see the lake and plenty of ducks in there to feed! Lots of parking and very accessible

Went to see the viking festival. Just a wonderful day out. There was a beer tent run by stagger inn who had lots of choice. The battles were spectacular and it was a well run event. Lots for children to see and get involved in. Perfect day out. X

Such a beautiful walk within well kept grounds. Peaceful and picturesque and would be lovely for a picnic although we did not see any restrooms.

Locko Park: A new location for us. A nice, pleasant walk, pretty much flat the whole route. Parking is street side either side of the path. You can park near ‘Dogs are us’. It’s safe and has a few parking spots. The walk goes passed the lake, woodland areas and also the Manor House. The majority of land is private and not accessible but the areas you can walk are nice. It’s a straight path not a circular route, therefore you walk from one end and back again. 💫

Really enjoyed Larping with Lorien Trust here.
The entertainment was fab
The venue was lovely
There were plenty of porta loos that were reasonably kept
There were a several places to buy food & drink or tipples
The bell tents most use add to the ambiance & feel of the entertainment.
The event itself was very structured and the communication about this easy to follow, especially on thier social media (I follow on Facebook)
The cost of tickets I think we're readable for the whole weekend.
Would definitely go back for one of their events.

The park itself is large and very picturesque. I think they do many events here.
