Lovely open space in front of cathedral ideal for picnicking in the summer or for children to play. Great view of the front of the cathedral you can sit and look at the many medieval carvings.

A nice little walk from Wells high street and Cathedral . It requires a 10min hill climb. Take a left before the gate and continue walking 5min. It is a quiet bench surrounded by forest with an opening in the branches to view the top of the cathedral.
