Great place for dog walking, walking, sports and maybe even just taking some quiet time for reflection. Some variation on walks is possible with the canal running alongside the field.

At the moment the field is very boggy but its a nice place. In the summer it will be a great place to picnic. It has a nice little park and a public convenience.

Fab to walk the dog and loads of place for kids to play.

It's a Beautiful place with River Erewash to one side and the Erewash Canal on the other, it as two full size Football Pitchers, a Cricket Pitch with a Pavilion and changing room. Their is also a Floodlit Rugby Pitch run by The Ilkeston Elks Rugby Club a good sized Kids Play Ground and Public Toilets. The car park is newly tarmac'd and the area is well looked after by the Erewash Valley Borough Council. As for wildlife there is plenty to see with Foxes being my local favourite, their is tons of birds the canal is very well stocked with fish, altogether it's a lovely place for everyone. Walking towards the Hallam Fields Lock their is another little Nature Reserve called Trowell Marsh which is also worth a look

Nice looking place, the wicket when I was there looked decent, looked like a good place to play. I loved the utilitarian design of the pavilion which was the main thing I went to see. Nice location near the river too.

A public sports field & Children’s play park all well kept & maintained. The park is adjacent to the Erewash canal which gives a combined running route of parkland & canal tow path.

Shockingly unloved place, pot holes in the field are a health hazard, sometimes dog s**t too, the lights barely work despite our club paying to put them on.

It’s a decent location, good parking but the field and lights need some desperate tlc.

It's a rugby field, with lights on it. Great. Also has football field, a walking track and is right next to the canal.
