Feilden St Multi Storey

Rubbish!! As someone not knowing Blackburn very well, have used this car park when attending an annual awards event for the past 4 years. When got back to car last night found it locked in. Apparently it now shuts at 8pm - but don't blink as you drive in or you'll miss the notice and unlike standard practice in decent car parks there are no obvious notices of this as you walk out having parked. Try and ring someone? Forget it - not a number in sight, we can't have the council contacted after hours can we now!!! What makes it even more frustrating was that the event organisers said they had asked that someone contact the venue as there were a number of events on to warn people that they would have to collect their cars just before the 8pm close - did they? Again, of course not. There were a number of people caught out by this new closing time.
BY THE WAY, DONT RELY ON THE WEBSITE FOR DETAILS IT GIVES THE CLOSING TIME OF 00.00 HOURS. IS THIS A COUNCIL INITIATIVE TO FLEECE MORE MONEY FROM DRIVERS?

Went to the theatre round the corner and when we came out at 9.30pm I found my car had been locked in the car park! No obvious signs to say car park closes at 8pm. Absolute joke. We weren’t the only ones stranded either. There were several other people too. We live in Bolton, my husband had to drive out 45 minutes to come and collect us. I then have to go back at 7am to pick up my car. Furious as I need to be in work for 7am. The worst part- I have to pay £10 to keep it in there over night!!! What car park completely locks down at 8pm these days. Tried phoning the number provided and there was no answer. I’ll be writing to Blackburn council to complain.

Probably the most secure car park in town with coded entry that's on your ticket, and staff in a room downstairs. Price is reasonable, certainly not cheap, but nothing to make you pull a face. As another review points out below though be careful if you're parking in a evening if you're out for food or going to King George's Hall as it's all locked up at about half 8 I think.
