Lovely walk through the village and along the river. Steeped in history with the ruins and ancient bridges. Be lovely to go back in summer when the tea shop is open and to sit at one of the picnic tables.

Parking machines have never worked, so free parking. Clean car park and good location for walking and running. Good pavement all the way into the village. Cafe in the village is now a window for take away, but does coffee, ice cream etc.

Beautiful even when it's raining the walk from the car park is worth it, by the way the car park doesn't take cash, but a card payment. Picnic area still good and pond still there but not so many birds when we went this time, must be waiting for better weather. No cafe this time but a side window selling ice cream coffee etc.

The car park is big, with a card payable ticket machine, £1 to park all day 8hrs. If not in use, there is clear instructions with a number to call, & quote your vehicle registration, with the location code printed on the board, it takes 5mins to register car parking this way, no issues, I then received a text to confirm payment/parking confirmation.

What a hidden gem. Stunning "chocolate box" village with idyllic walks. Well worth the precarious drive along single track lanes to get there! Watch out at the car park however, you had to pay by mobile phone, not the best system

Lots of parcking for big and small vehicles, its 500meters from the car park to the cafe. Just follow the signs leading to it. But be careful, with it being an open car park. There are warning signs for theives ect. So dont leave anything in the car. Hope this helps.
