Lion's Den Car Park

Small car park, National trust.
Down a side road not easy to find first time. Next to good dog walking area though due to erosion the river has been fenced off so dogs can't swim. Cows roam free sometimes. There is a walk way that leads to the village straight to Lollies tea shop well worth a visit, Nice home cooked fresh food and cakes.

I don't know how to get to the mentioned car park so I parked on the street. I hope parking matches its rating. But the marshes were wonderful on this quiet, sunny and warm September day. Only herons and dog walkers to disturb the ambience of pastoral.

Just the place to park your car for gentle walks. Slightly odd sign says if you can't find a space then go away......

The most relaxing walk you could have down the River Test bank and the old railway track

Great place for a dogwalk, then into lovely Stockbridge for a coffee, can be a lot of visitors so car park can be busy
