NCP Car Park St Albans Gombards

This was a fantastic car park, I have used it for over 2years. Approx £5 a day, brilliant for people like me that work in the area.
Unfortunately this week they have changed the prices for all car parks in st Albans including this one- to an extortionate £12.50 a day. This is more than DOUBLE!! Its ridiculous!

Payment machine not functioning properly [one operated by bank card] My Bank Account was charged and no ticket was issued. Had to use coin operated machine to get ticket, so have paid twice!!!

Parking on Sunday is cheap at just £1. But is impossible to pay for it so you'll get stuck with a fine. None of their machines worked. The phone number to pay for parking refused to register a new account, and both website and app refused to cooperate. I wasted 25 minutes of mu life trying to park here.

Easy access, not expensive, some shade for sunny days, all good

Both ticket machines were not working. Took ages to register online. Otherwise an OK car park but some tight spaces and not that big a car park.

Not great experience partner is on jury duty park in the car park as not meny of the car parks are over 6hrs. Not from the area payed for the ticket for the day came back to the car with a fine because apparently only trade parking on a Wednesday utter joke not made clear at all definitely for people not from the area

It's a car park! What more to say?
First visit the pay machines were not working properly (screen for inserted cards cracked/touch not working... digits on number pad also not working... I had no cash) so it was very difficult to pay.
Second visit it was fine

Livky little hidden gem of a car park that not many people know about. The only issue is the entrance is on a really steep hill, if you have a sports car of any kind you will scrape the underside of your bumper. So be warned.
