Mallards Pike Lake car park

Always like parking here. Ready to set off walking or cycling. Toilets and now a good cafe.

Excellent spot to take a stroll or bike ride around the lakes or forest, car park is not free, this seems to be the norm in UK unlike the rest of Europe now, but not to bad.

The car park is pretty good, decent surface so you don't get stuck, but it can fill up on busy days

This is a really great place to visit for all the family. In the summer the café is open and a nice place with nice staff. The walk around the lake is lovely and fairly peaceful, unless it's the height of summer. Our fabulous forest is truly special and we love it. It is a pay and display car park, unless you have a forestry commission membership pass. They do check, so please be aware.

Very nice place with a small lake. Go apes tree top chalange and forest Segways in the area.
