Nice pub by the common. Lots of parking and seating outside. Food service at the weekend is limited to a few hrs so be sure to check if that's your reason for visiting.

Galleywood common is a beautiful slice of countryside just outside of Chelmsford. Quite varied terrain and flora in a fairly small area, with a lot of history too! There are two main car parks and a smaller northern plot with some parking too

So whos the dip stick that laid sand down in the car park in stead of stone ,perhaps it was the same dip stick that installed the kissing gates at the church .both not done properly. Who we paying here to repair work .waste of time .both have to be done again .more money. Employ some one who knows what they are doing. Not rocket science.
