A better way to arrive at Nomansland than the Heartswood Forest car park that's off Sandridge High Street, as the Sandridge one has excessive signage and more over-management when you head off on your walk, you have to go over 19 speed bumps to get in and out. Ridiculous.

Three stars for this one because the surface here is pretty poor and there's a propensity for people to fly tip.

This car park doesn't get closed so, once it's dark, it attracts that perennial British cross-over from dog walking to dogging. Please - just keep it indoors for crying out loud, you dirty dirty bunch of filthy dirty old doggers. Yuck. Get a hobby. Maybe join The Woodland Trust.

One more thing while I'm here, a note to the Woodland Trust people. Look, I am sure you do good work protecting and planting woodland, but can you lay off the bloody signpost fetish you have?

Every time we turn up there's a yet another new sign advising people to look at the bluebells, not to speak to the horses, take your body parts home with you or some such nonsense. There will be more signs than trees soon at this rate. Leave it out.

Find something else to do.

Dogging, maybe.

I've always been able to find a parking space. It's an ideal place to park for walking dogs or simply just walking, with both an open field and woodland walks close by. The car park surface has a few fairly large holes but it's nothing major and the parking is free.

Beautiful surroundings. Small parking lot but it's usually empty

If you find a spot it's great. More likely it's full though. Crazy really given that people parking on the road puts others at risk and they are not exactly short of space to build an appropriate size car park. Guess the locals would whine though, probably the same ones that complain most about the on road parking.

Lovely open space to walk, cycle and enjoy the fresh air. Nomansland is adjacent to Heartwood Forest. A Local pub/restaurant 'The Wicked Lady' (named after 17th Century Highway Woman who roamed this area) offers refreshment after exercise.

Nice park seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Great for walks or picnics

A great place to walk the dogs, or just walk taking in the scenery. You can wander around for hours here.
