Cloud Trail Parking

Excellent cycle ride off road all the way to Pride park Derby and further if you wisk

Good sized secure car park - closed at dusk which provides access directly onto Cloud Trail so no going back in a road to get to it. Cloud Trail great too with several options for a circular route back via country roads and pathways

Free parking, plenty of spaces but unsurfaced & unmarked. The narrow drive from the road to the parking area has a great many deep potholes. Care needed. Currently (early March) open at 7am, gates locked at dusk. Serves it's purpose.

Not the biggest of parking areas but it's free and open long hours should you wish to walk the cloud trail. Disabled access to cloud trail from it. Great for push bikes runners and walkers. Goes to the Trent canal near swarkastone and Weston on Trent.

Ideal place to walk or cycle the Cloud trail. Plus it's free which is rare in this day and age.

It's free, which is good. A good place to start a motor traffic free ride towards Derby on the Cloud Trail. Downside? It's small and access is tight and not glaringly obvious. But, for a family friendly bicycle ride, great.
