Christopher Place Car Park

Not fit for purpose.
Spaces are ridiculously small and turning for ramps ridiculously tight even for car of average length (smaller that Ford Focus Estate).
Poorly marked, low ventilation ducting everywhere intruding on already undersized spaces and severely limiting height. Extreme hazard to your vehicle’s bodywork and your head! They clearly know of the issue but have done very little about it - only trying to hide it using totally inadequate domestic pipe insulation foam which offers virtually no barrier to damage or injury at all.
Only positive is that pricing for town centre surprisingly reasonable but that’s probably to compensate for complete inadequacy everywhere else
Will not use again.

The car park is currently being repaired in phases - ceilings are leaking with limescale water creating mineral residue on paintwork. The management team are supportive though.

Convenient parking, but the ramps and corners are pretty right. Wouldn't recommend taking a large vehicle or parking g here if you aren't confident in the size of your vehicle. However the spaces are bizarrely big. There is a lack of safe walking paths around the car park so pedestrians just have to walk where the cars drive.

Tiny, small and not fun to drive around in. It must of been made with smart cars in mind. The most stressful car park to drive around. You feel like you’re going to hit every wall and corner.

Really cramped and spaces are very tight. Quite expensive as well for the quality of the car park. Disabled spaces need to be bigger and there needs to be a few more.

Very well located for St. Alban's town center shopping. Covered parking and reasonably priced for short to medi stays.

Easy to access and spaces available. Easy access to shops. Either down the stairs or using the sloped pavement.

Parked here for a few hours and came back to paint damage on my door, possibly from another car opening their door more than 1 foot (which is about the only room you have). Called the call centre and they advised that CCTV is only at the exits and entrances. Tiny parking spaces and not enough room to swing a cat, so why people with huge SUVs park here I do not know. Overpriced and no protection for your vehicle. Avoid at all costs, park somewhere like the Civic Centre instead.
